You will hike along the long-abandoned G&O railroad grade, and cross the Oswegatchie River on a train trestle built in 1893. The trail ends at the Talcville Road at 1.5-miles, return to the trailhead by the same route.

The trail is very easy to hike. There is an easy road that has grass in the center and dirt on the outsides. The train bridge is the best sight on the trail. We were lucky that there weren't many bugs. We had tried the hike before, but we were being eaten alive and didn't complete it that time. We hiked the full length of the trail and returned to the starting point. We hiked the trail on August 8, 2022.

Not much going on today.
2 woodpeckers, a few catbirds...
Cut the walk short.
Almost missed the trail sign despite it being large enough.
Just seemed like I was in the wrong place.
Don't know if there is anything worth seeing past the train bridge, turned back there.
