The view from the overlook makes it worth it! A good first Adirondack hike, with views that will get you excited to do more hikes.
The trail is narrow. Definitely wear shoes with good tread as there are some spots (when wet) are slippery. Bring DEET bug spray.
Dogs are allowed on leash.
Head to Cranberry Lake Campground. Parking at the trailhead is $8 because you’re on a campground.
